Barry McManus

President

Klein Products President Barry McManus gives new meaning to the word busy. He starts responding to emails at the crack of 5 a.m. — when you operate in more than one time zone like we do, you have to get an early start — and that’s only the beginning. As the day progresses, his non-stop schedule includes everything from leading meetings, training staff and overseeing operations to developing long-term business strategies, managing Klein Products’ finances, planning for the company’s ongoing growth, and meeting with customers and key suppliers. He usually leaves the office around 6 p.m. or later, and while that may make for long days, for Barry they are days well-spent on work he is deeply passionate about.

Barry got his start at Klein Products as a preteen, helping out during school holidays. In the years that followed, he held a variety of roles across every department of the company — from janitorial work and assisting in the steel yard to production and parts sales — before being named company president in 1991. As president, Barry has worked tirelessly to help our company expand globally, move to new state-of-the-art facilities in both California and Texas, achieve ISO 9001:2015 certification for the quality management systems at our Texas facility, thrive as a top-notch work environment for our incredible team, and ultimately achieve remarkable growth. In all he does, Barry serves as an example of Klein Products’ guiding principles: valuing relationships, working hard and doing things the right way every time.
