Plant Manager, Klein Products of Texas

Michael Shepperd is plant manager for Klein Products of Texas, where he manages 135-plus individuals spanning our engineering, production, human resources, accounting, safety, quality and maintenance departments. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to our Texas operations — and he uses that knowledge to bring out the best in each and every member of our team.

Michael began his career as a draftsman at Trinity Industries before he accepted a similar role on the Klein Products team in 1996. During his time as a Klein Products draftsman, working with company founder Richard Klein, Michael demonstrated an exceptional talent for designing and building innovative products. Within a year and a half, he was promoted to engineering manager. His ability to multitask and effectively manage operations soon moved him into his current role as plant manager. Michael’s broad expertise and unwavering dedication to excellence ensure Klein Products continues to reach greater heights — including expanding our facilities and implementing the latest technologies, as well as achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification for our quality management system.
